How tall is uncle phil from fresh prince
What height do you think Avery is and how much do you think he has over Smith? Then Alfonso is for sure 5'7 like Gago thinks! Click Here. If he is only 6''4 then how is Smith over 6'1? That other pic makes avery look taller. Although I just seen avery with tony monty who I give strong cm What do yoiu think , 6'5.
Would need some of those straight on shots, the over shoulder ones ain't as good. To me , If Smith is 6'1.
If Smith was really 6'2. This guy has an easy 3 - 3. Do you think this was his peak height? They could have only logically got that information, either from James himself, or they could have measured him. Will Smith also used to wear Basketball shoes and he looks about 2 inches shorter than 6'4 Avery with basketball shoes on.
Some of you keep saying that Will Smith was only 6 foot half inch on the show and that in some shots avery was taller and some shots closer to wills height. Remember one thing, when Will started the series he was very young, he was somewhere about 20 and a lot of guys still grow at that age, I know I did. When he started the show I have seen where Will looks around 6 foot, then later in the series he is taller.
Somehow I can see more than a 2 cm difference between him and uncle Phil lol. How tall was that bum that was there he was even taller than avery whos usually the tallest on the show hopefully someone knows what im talking about. In others shots of course they use camera angle tricks to made the difference smaller between the two. In that shots the difference between the two look smaller about 2 inches. He could have been rounding down but he's always looked 6'4" to me.
IM 6'2. James is more then lbs , and if hes only 6'3? From looking at Fresh Prince, I do agree that he was over , but time and bulk have made him a little smaller. Even accounting for footwear, near John Billingsey whom I'd met , he looked nearer 6ft 5 than 6ft He's a about 6'3".
I'm 6'3. However, I watched an episode the one about Ashley's singing career and James Avery looked only about 2 inches taller than Smith when they were standing really close to each other. I think that 6'4'' is about right. Did he say so or is that your estimate? Avery looked alot taller, like 3 inches than Ashton who is supposed to be So Avery is more like When you guys see someone who's 3 inches taller than somebody, you make it taller than it seems.
Im 5'8", and my boy Levar is only 5'5" were both only 17 anyways, my friend is only 3 inches shorter, but the top of his head is around my eyes. You have James Avery right on the dot Rob, he's about 6 ft. Will is probably rounding up his height a little, and Avery's probably 6'5".
A, was 6'6 I think cause in Fresh Prince he looked atleast 4 inches bigger than Smith whos 6'2 I think but yea nowadays he's probally 6'5 or 6'4. Kirk Franklin. Malachi Kirby. Michael Aspel. Samuel West. Barbara Flynn. Edele Lynch. Avery had surgery on November 11 and died Tuesday evening at a hospital in Glendale, California, according to Benson.
Avery played Philip Banks, the stern but loving uncle to Will Smith's character on the show. Avery believed the show was important because the "striving of the African-American ought to have been shown on television," Marcell said. I will miss him greatly. A classically trained actor and poet, Avery grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he was raised by a single mother.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and first appeared onscreen as a dancer in an uncredited role in the film "The Blues Brothers. A biography provided by his manager said that after he served in the military, Avery moved to San Diego, California, where he began writing TV scripts and poetry for PBS.
