Is it possible to get argent dawn rep in cata
They're the easiest to collect but also the least valuable. Players can trade these in stacks of 20 for Argent Dawn Valor Tokens. These mobs will also grant reputation until players reach Friendly.
These stones only drop from elite mobs, so they're more valuable and harder to find than the Minion stones. There are elite mobs in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands, but there is more to be found in the two prominent instances in both zones. Other members of the party will be grind rep as well, but enough of these will drop that players can take turns picking them up.
Players can be nice and remind their friends at the beginning to put on their trinkets, or be a jerk and keep it, and more of the stones, to themselves, which they can bring back in stacks of Unlike the Minion and Invader stones which look like simple pieces of grey stone, these items are crowned with a grinning skull and coated with gold.
They only drop from bosses, so players only see a few Corruptor's Scourgestones outside of the dungeons. They're so valuable that players can turn them in one at a time. One of the few mobs outside of a dungeon that drops a Corruptor's Scourgestone is Araj the Summoner in the Ruins of Lordaeron. This is one of the last quests players can do at endgame and the character must have at least Honored reputation with the Argent Dawn in order to begin it.
By the time a player is ready to walk the halls of Naxxramas, they're 'toon will be at that point already or very close to it.
Like many other endgame raids , players need to be attuned into order to enter the dungeon, and that's what this quest is about. It also awards reputation points. The tragic story of the Redpath Family starts with the ghost of a little girl looking for her doll, and goes downhill from there. This quest chain leads to some of the furthest corners of Azeroth and is deeply tied in with the Argent Dawn and the timeline of the Scourge invasion. You mustve hit the at war box and gone about killing them. PSN: Ruzinus -- Feel free to add me. If you want rep with the Argent Dawn.
I'm not glass half full, but I'm not glass half empty. I prefer to question whether the glass actually exists and what constitutes existing. User Info: ErocDeromra. Keep killing the crusade! Who knows, maybe Arthas will be be your new best friend! Maturity is nice, but you gotta know when to let go and just enjoy dumb things. Is there a particular mob in zuldrak that I can kill to increase rep? User Info: RiderFaiz. Although they are no BoP it is difficult on some servers to find these at AH depending on how new the server is and how many advanced guilds are running Naxx.
Very nice craftable items if you can get these though. Comment by ataylor Once you've hit revered, there are three main ways to grind rep up to exalted: 1. Run Stratholme Undead side. Lots of scourgestones, plus you get 25 rep for each boss, 50 for the Baron, and a bonus if you complete in 45 minutes. Run Scholomance. Do the Western Plaguelands cauldron quests. Comment by Chandrialla If you're doing cauldrons, keep in mind that the arcane quickener only lasts half an hour.
It's best to make sure you have all the runecloth and assorted materials first, then buy the quickener and go to town on the cauldrons.
Comment by I have to ask - if you go under the reputation panel and select "At War" with Argent Dawn, it allows you to attack them. IS there really any practicaly use in killing the Argent Dawn? I mean, you can't interact with the Scarlet Crusade, I don't see why Blizz would allow us to attack the Dawn. Comment by Could a Naxx10 equiped mage solo these? Comment by it was long ago, but i remember, how they attacked me when i equiped corrupted ashbringer, i was wondered :.
Comment by I mean So I was wondering if it was possible for a lvl 19 twink with XP lock to get the reputation for the argent dawn and get the items.
Because there is no required level to equipt the items, but it would be really nice. Anyone knows if this is possible? Comment by malmern What happens if you set your status to "At War" with Argent Dawn, and then kill a whole lot of them? Will you just get "Hated" by AD? Comment by anathor I did this rep grind on my lvl 80 balance druid icc geared.
I did only 2 runs each in Stratholme and Scholomance. I thought I would be farming Stratholme because I wanted the mount, but it dropped on my first run! Stratholme: - pros: the mount can drop that's about it - cons: some pulls can go wrong, the crypt stalkers can silence you not a problem if you remember to place a DoT on them, glyphed moonfire worked like a charm Scholomance: - pros: more bosses, and especially the nicely packed one at the end, it's possible to get a lot of scourgestones from the bosses very fast due to the set-up.
Also the pulls are nicely organized in rooms, which means you can just fire and forget. I used Starfall every time I entered a room for a very quick clear.
They are in the room with the door to the Viewing Room, in the basement before Janice, and in another trash room full of them. I had some feral gear on me, which was enough to get rid of them, but was long and tedious well, compared to Starfall insta-clear since I didn't have the spec.
So if by luck you already have the mount or don't care about it, I'd definitely recommend farming Scholo. Don't know if there's a connection Comment by rzzr Swift Razzashi Raptor the only raptor mount in game available to the horde.
Comment by Xyleon You can still get Argent Dawn rep as of 4. She will give you two quests to go and find Tarenar Sunstrike and a dwarf called Gidwin, when you find them you do their quests and they will send you back to fiona. Fiona will then get you to ride her caravan to a tower where u will find a few more quests, i did several here but i think you only need to do the ones from Tarenar Sunstrike to speak to a guy at the top of the tower, and the guy at the top of the towers short quest chain.
After that you will travel to the next tower and get a quest from Fiona to go to lights hope chapel and meet Gidwin. Travel there and you will get told to speak to the guy inside the church who wants you to undergo a trial. Accept the quest and then go behind the church into a crypt making note of the ghostly figure at the graves.
Use the item you get for the quest and some mobs will slowly spawn lvl 40ish non elite , eventually the elite that has been watching will fight you, kill him and hand in the quest. If you are neutral at this point you should get 20, rep, i was revered and got just You can now get a quest from the ghostly figure to kill Rattlegore in Scholomance, everytime you do this u get Argent Dawn rep. Comment by In the latest patch, no rep given when killing any mobs in Scholomance. Once you get halfway through you can also do the repeatable quests Aberrations of Bone and Annals of the Silver Hand for more rep.
Now you can complete the repeatable quests Annals of the Silver Hand and Aberrations of Bone for additional dawn rep. Comment by TheItchyOne The easiest and only, to my knowledge way to obtain rep for the Argent Dawn after the shattering is to do the quests that invole Fiona's Caravan : The Trek Continues Once you have found the two paladins, continue this quest chain, which after stopping at the towers will drop you off a lights hope chapel.
You will then be given initaion into the Argent Dawn which will set your rep for me, I am not sure at where i started to revered, after that you will be able to do these two quests : Aberrations of Bone Annals of the Silver Hand Even though it doesn't look like it from the "! These quests are repeatable and give Reputation each turn in. Once u do the fiona chain and unlock Lord Raymond George at lights hope chapel, which is a ghost by the way, he will give u 2 repeatable quests, 1 id for stratholme and 1 is for scholomance.
When u turn them in he gives you 2k rep for Argent Dawn. Just for the record i was revered when i started doing this.
Don't know if it's lower at lower rep. It is repeatable and it is the same quest every time, i have turned in twice now on both quests and he has given me 2k rep all four times. This Has Been Confirmed! Comment by talon U cannot turn in scourge stones, the above is the only way to get rep now. Comment by Icefloe You can still get Argent Dawn rep as of 4. Comment by As of 4. Argent Dawn hook up with the caravan quest line in EPL you won't have much choice as apparently most of the Quests in the zone are linked to this and eventually you'll reach Light's Hope Chapel, talk with a undead guy, watch your NPC babysitters kill a few mobs and BANG!
Said ghost will then offer two repeatable Quests, one to kill Rattlegore in Strath Undead side, one to collect a book from Scarlet side, each offering 1 to 2k Argent Dawn Rep. Thorium Brotherhood: the Quests that start from the eastern edge of Searing Gorge will get you into Revered used to be not even Friendly for non-Blacksmiths if I remember correctly , after which the hiked up turn-ins will get you into Exalted in no time as well.
Timbermaw Hold: the Quests will get you into Revered they've added a couple, Quest-givers all parked handy-dandy near the objective , after which you can still kill all Furbolgs for additonal 20 Rep per mob - but don't bother too much, the Spirit Beads now grant per turn in haven't checked the feather turn-ins but likely it's the same , you'll be - again - Exalted within mere moments compared to just a week or so ago.
All in an all a complete and utter nerf of said Reputation grinds, especially if you did them with level-appropriate toons, and frankly completely uncalled for. Comment by You no longer get any Argent Dawn rep from Scholomance at all. Comment by Seems crypt fiend parts, bone fragments, core of elements etc can no longer be used as turn-ins for rep, as the NPC questgivers have been removed. The items still drop however, and are white indicating they have some use. I am assuming they will either become grey vendor trash, or will be removed from the game.
Comment by A nice trick that will save you some time: Grab Annals of the Silver Hand and clear your way to the book, grab it, and kill Balnazzar. Grab the quest again and stroll to the book which will have respawned.
Comment by The QMs are not working at this time. Comment by Takata As of patch 4. Anyone know if there's still a way to raise this faction? Comment by prohan Now that the cataclysm has happened, there is only one way that I have found to get Argent Dawn rep.
Behind Light's Hope in Eastern plaguelands, the ghost gives the quest It requires you to go to Scholomance, and kill Rattlegore. Quite simple, and rewards AD rep. Depending on your Guild perks, this can be more each turn-in. Good luck! The problem was I was given no reputation from quests in all of Western Plaguelands or Eastern Plaguelands did literally every quest.
Then, I ran west Stratholme and got zero experience there, as well. You need to find a repeatable quest giver, that is unlocked I believe after the Trial of the Crypt quest at Light's Hope Chapel.. These are repeatable non-dailies and therefore can be done over and over and takes an hour to two hours to max out your reputation. Rattlegore, however, does not respawn and therefore Scholomance must be reset to do, meaning you will lock yourself out if you are high level.
The book quest, however, is a book that does not despawn, and when you turn-in and re-accept you can pick it back up without fighting monsters, so this is definitely the best way to go. Comment by Rawveggie To all of those checking here for the Argent Dawn rep, read the previous comments on this page and also on the previous page. They mention finding the npc Fiona and doing quests for her leading to Light's Hope Chapel and finally two repeatable quests.
However, I also found that Crypt Slayers located in a cave on the western side of Eastern Plaguelands a cave you go in for one of the first quests from Fiona give 6 rep each with the Argent Dawn at Neutral. Comment by How do you get more rep with these guys after revered? On alts i have went and slaughtered undead in Strath, but now you dont get any rep for the kills and the quests even ones offered by Argent people dont' see to give rep.
Argent Dawn rep guide 4. Stratholme and Scholomance no longer give AD rep. The AD has been replaced by the Argent Crusade.
You can still gain scourgestones, but the turn-in NPC is now gone. If you are still interested in this, you have one option. Annals of the Silver Hand requires that you loot a book on a table next to Instructor Galford in Strat Live Tip: When going through Fiona's quests, you will reach a point that you can select a buff from the caravan. If you select the "Fiona's Lucky Charm" buff you will receive a chance to get a bag drop from mobs in EPS unfortunately this goes away in Strat that has a chance to drop a new pet Mr.
Sources: » www. Comment by Save yourself time - don't reset Live Stratholme. After initially turning in the quest, pick it up again, and then simply run back through your cleared instance to Galford's room and grab the book again. Turn it in. Rinse repeat. Its about a 6 minute round trip from picking up the quest to turning it in.
Comment by ilostmahbucket Iommie writes: To raise your Argent Dawn reputation in Cataclysm you need to complete the first part of the "Visitors" chain, up to the part where Fiona sends you back to Light's Hope for the quest Boys Will Be Boys. After you complete the quest Argent Call: The Trial of the Crypt you will be offered two follow up quests, both are repeatable and both worth Argent Dawn rep each: - Annals of the Silver Hand - Aberrations of Bone Simplest way to gain rep from there is to clear Strat Live not so live anymore..?
You don't even need to reset the instance each time, just run through the cleared instance 10 more times, fly back to LHC to turn in, and repeat.
Using the LFD tool would be even better, if you can keep the completed instance open long enough. It is empty and functionless. They're all out battling zombies, I suppose, but I do wonder what the room will do in the future, if anything. Comment by rodrain2 What happened to the Argent Dawn Rep.
