Why leonardo dicaprio deserves an oscar tumblr

Forget the Golden Globes, Leo put in Oscar worthy work right here! I mean, forget that this is one of my favourite Leo movies, because this is one of my favourite movies, period! I may have to re-watch this film though. Too many people I respect are in this film for my first take on this film to be the right one.

At one point I was hoping they could both win. Regardless, Leo killed this and deserved an Oscar nomination to go along with his Golden Globe nomination. Jennifer Connelly is the best way to make me not interested in a film. I associated her with all things sullen and flat. But Leo and Djimon pulled this movie out for me and by the end I wanted to clap!

Leo deserved this awards season nomination love! Trust me it was great]… or was it? It was a traumatizing experience nonetheless. The awards season nomination love seems about right. How dare they get my hopes up for an amazing Leo and Ben Kingsley showdown only to pull the rug from out under me?!?!?! So out of spite I say bully to the Academy and Foreign Press for standing up for my feelings!

I enjoyed all 5 times I saw it in theatre and every time since on Blu-Ray. I would have at least given Leo a Golden Globe nomination. When Tumblr photoshoppers finally got a night off. When this Tumblr user realized that Jack will never let go. When this most glorious moment was so eloquently summarized. When everyone knew Leo probably got blackout somewhere and had the best night of his life. When many conversations like this probably took place.

When the most painfully true 'Harry Potter' reference is made. When Kate Winslet looked proud AF and gave the entire nation all the feels. When even calendars start referring to time as before Leo had an Oscar, and after his first win.

When all of America stays up all night because they saved the best for last. When Julianne Moore says his name and everyone goes crazy.

When the greatest Internet troll of all time updates Leo's Wikipedia page. When Tumblr breaks down the craziness that was Leo's Oscar struggle. When the Internet agrees that the world will forever remember this important day in history.
